We were pleased to take part in this year’s International Battery Production Conference 2025 – represented with a presentation and a poster of the TFT group from KIT.

The contributions from KIT-TFT focused on two key topics in battery cell production:
A. Hoffmann, W. Schabel, P. Scharfer: Challenges and current goals in slot-die coating of battery electrodes
P. Barbig, T. Heckmann, W. Schabel, P. Scharfer: Humidity Management and Post Drying for different Battery Electrode Materials: Sorption and Kinetics

The discussions and interactions with experts from both research and industry once again demonstrated how rapidly the battery sector is evolving – and how essential close collaboration and shared knowledge are in shaping the future of battery production.
