Professor Wilhelm Schabel is awarded as “Edwards Fellow” at the University of Cambridge from the Edwards Centre for Soft Matters.

The Fellowship is named after Professor Sir Sam Edwards, Cavendish Professor of Physics,Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS). The Edwards Centre for Soft Matters at the University Cambridge awards and invites highly distinguished scientists.The expected level of distinction for “Edwards Fellows” nominations corresponds roughly to holders of a named Chair in the US or a major prize from one of the learned societies.

The President of the Edwards Center for Soft Matter,Professor Michael Cates, Lucasian Professor of Mathematics, invites Edwards Fellows to Cambridge University.
