Carbon Nanotubes (CNT) as an additive in catalyst layers for fuel cells (PEM-FC) and H2-electrolyzers applications

Catalyst layers produced with and without Carbon Nanotubes (CNT). With CNT almost no cracks and defects occur.

Our recent publication on direct coating of catalyst coated membranes (CCM) for fuel cells and electrolyzers applications has been published #OpenAccess. Using carbon nanotubes (CNT) as an ink additive, catalyst layers can be produced with almost no defects. Even “higher” drying rates have no significant negative impact on crack formation.
